For those of you that had the privilege of working with or knowing Richard, I am sad to have to report his recent passing.
Richard was a professional man that brought a wealth of experience to our Club in the 20 years he served on the Committee. He was a rare find.
He was our Club Treasurer for the majority of that time and when he passed this role onto our current Treasurer he became our Assistant Secretary.
He has been responsible for the many internal controls we have in place and as members of the Club, we owe him a great deal of gratitude for getting us through difficult patches which have seen many other CIU Clubs fold.
In recognition of his great work he was awarded Life Membership three years ago.
His experience will be difficult to replace but I am sure everyone on this site would like to say a big thank you and pass on our condolences to Richards family.
